• Rudraksha is one of the most potent symbols used in Hinduism. It is considered to be the most potent manifestation of the Cosmic Force. Rudraksha is a blessing from Lord Shiva himself to protect mankind from worldly sufferings and miseries.

  • Vasantha means “spring” Nava means “Nine” and ratris means “Nights”. This ritual is observed twice a year, in spring and in autumn. "Vasanta Navaratri" or Spring Navaratri is nine days of fast and worship that Hindus undertake during spring every year.

  • Sri Rama was born on Navami, the ninth day of the month of Chaitra, in the fourth quarter of the Punarvasu star. The birth of Sri Rama is celebrated as Ramajanmotsava.

  • In the month of April and may, each year the great Chitra festival is celebrated on Pournami (full moon day). Amongst the many festivals that are conducted here, the Chitra festival is the most important one. It is known to be the world's longest festivals that keep going for a time of one month (30 days).
